St. Pancras Station Christmas Tree

About this project

A florist retailer needed a 15 m floral Christmas tree in St. Pancras main hall (November 2017). Structure had to meet limited weight and allow modular overnight dressing of flower skirts.

Five independent ~3 m modules were prefabricated off-site, erected overnight and joined solidly.

Constraints

Two weeks from design to completion; Network Rail floor load limits. Installed on time in the first week of December for the Christmas period.
