AVILAStudio was approached by JT Glass for detailed vibration analysis of a steel and glass stair — an offset-helicoidal steel stair with tempered glass parapets between two existing floors.

Weight limits and a tight programme before late-October shop opening constrained the design.

Time-history analysis of ascending/descending walk-by loads across excitation frequencies. Accelerations checked against comfort criteria agreed with the client and lead engineers. Performance verified with minor plate thickness tweaks; completed within budget and programme.
